Jon has a buddy that invited him to the Scottsdale Gun club today. As long as you buy the ammo, you can shoot any of their guns. Jon told me he shot about 500 rounds - in many different guns - to celebrate the fourth of July.
Because of Haboobs, (see http://www.flickr.com/photos/scottorama/sets/651237/ or http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haboob) some of the fireworks displays were cancelled. We ended up watching the fireworks at Tempe town lake -- on TV.
